Are you ready for some fun and adventure, a great place and community, and for learning and growth?
Wonderful! And welcome on board.
This trip has been growing strong in my heart and soul for quite some time. I wanted to offer a different kind of surf & yoga journey. One where everything is interconnected, where yoga prepares you not only for the physical demands the water presents, but also for the mental and emotional challenges. A journey that offers you time and space to connect with the ocean on a deeper level. To hear and feel her teachings, her endless power and support.
The ocean has been my greatest teacher. She has helped me learn and face the lessons of life. It is where I reconnect and recharge, where I find peace and strength, and so much joy. Where I face my own limits and limitations, my frustrations and fears.
This journey is especially designed for beginners, advanced beginners and intermediates who want to improve their surfing, spend time with some amazing people focusing on their body, mind and soul, and gain a greater understanding of how it is all connected. Paired with learning about a new culture, exploring and having a whole lot of fun along the way.
WHERE WE ARE GOING
Location & Accomodation
The small village of Tamraght lies north of Agadir. We will be staying at the newly renovated Wave Gypsy Surf & Yoga Villa, run and designed by the German Moroccan couple Franky and Toufik. Franky is a designer, photographer and ISA licensed surf instructor. Toufik was born and raised in the hills of Tamraght, and therefore grew up by the sea. They are not only the owners but also good friends of mine, and I am so happy and grateful that they are inviting us to spend this amazing week at their beautiful place. Their passion for the ocean and surfing, Franky's eye for design,Toufik's local knowledge, and their kind souls make them possibly the best hosts you could ask for.
It is only a 15 minutes walk to the beach, and close by are little cafes and shops to wander and explore. The cozy roof terrace allows you to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets and relax after a busy day of fun and surf. The yoga shala provides the perfect space for our pre and post surf yoga sessions. And of course there will be lots of nurturing and healthy food.
